"Dr. Roberts is a remarkably friendly and reassuring person, in addition to having very impressive professional credentials. I first met him in his cheerful and informative lap band information session, and my positive impression has not changed. In the info session, he made it clear that he makes himself available to his patients in the event they need him on short notice. I'm one month post-op and my impression of the aftercare is that it's tailored to the individual. There is a lap banders support group that meets once a month in New Haven. I rate him Outstanding, both on surgical competence and bedside manner. "
