I'm not a great blogger. Just wanted to update my 6 month progress. Birthday is Wednesday and never thought at the beginning of the year that I would be celebrating this birthday 80 lbs lighter. It is truly a blessing that I will not dread a birthday but actually feel good about it. My energy level is so much higher and my self esteem is through the roof. I just can't imagine what I will feel like next year! I still have a journey to take until I reach "goal" but I am satisfied at my progress to date. I had wanted to lose 100 lbs by 6 months but I didn't. Oh well....life goes on. I am proud of me and where I am now. I know that 100 mark is just around the corner and in my grasp. This is a life change, not a race and I plan on being a winner!

Well...I guess I have made it this far so there is no turning back. All pre ops done, nut session and just waiting on the call for my OR time. I have lost 14 pounds....which is amazing. Just hanging tough through the weekend. Can't wait til Monday!

I'm on the 2 week pre surgery diet. This is one of the hardest things I had to do because I also quit smoking at the same time! Thought just being grouchy at one time would be better for my boyfriend. I feel like I could gnaw my foot off right now! LOL
