Hi, My name is Pam. I live in Middletown with my husband of 14 years and my son (12 years old) and my daughter (8 years old). I live in the same area I grew up and went to school in - my roots are pretty firmly planted lol. I currently work full time for Newport Hospital as a Financial Counselor.
I have been overweight most of my life - but have spiraled out of control with it when I hit my late 30's early 40's. I've tried all the diets I swear - most success I ever had was with Atkins, but who can eat like that forever? This surgery is important to me as my father had his first heart attack at 45 years old, just 2 years more than I am now. I always said I'd never do such a risky procedure while my kids were still little, but it has got to the point that I'm afraid if I don't do this, I may not be around to watch them grow up!
