"Dr. Ryder is part of University Surgical Associates in Rhode Island, and is a very competent surgeon. She has impressed me from our first meeting, to our continuing appointments. She appreciates your honesty with her, and she was always honest with me. Along with the support group, and pre-operative teaching required, I never felt nervous! Her bedside manner is great...but I didn't really appreciate it, because when I don't feel well I just want to be left alone, and I was nauseous after surgery, so was not a very good patient. Even with a few small bumps along the way post-surgery, it was taken very seriously, but turned out to be minor. We are both very pleased with my progress!"
