I am here in the waiting area of PCMH...My surgery is today....i need many prayers...im excited but a little nervous.  i hate anesthesia. I will blog again probably tommorrow.

I just talked to PCMH patient tesing to see what time i am to report tommorrow.  Well it's at 6:30 am and my anxiety is at all time high. i don't  know if i wanna shout for joy or cry. i've been working on this since Sept 08 dang almost a year ago.

Well i have surgery tommorrow....i dont know how i feel, i am so scared now...i am a bundle of nerves.... i need lots of prayers...Am I doing the right thing?

 when to meet with my surgeon again, we discussed, everything the risks and complications of surgery.  i went to the schedulers office thinking my date was going to be in September,,,,my jaw nearly dropped to the floor when she asked me about the 27th or 28th, of course i thought she was talkin sept or oct. she said no  honey, next week. WOW IV BEEN DOING THIS WHOLE PROCESS SINCE SEPT 11, 2008. TRULY AT A LOST FOR WORDS. LOL

I have updated in a bit.  Had to do the mandatory 6 mon medically supervised weighloss sessions. completed that in april....called the surgeon's office so that he could do my endoscopy guess what his first avail slot was the end of may...had that done he said everything seemed good, but i did have a small hernia...he SAID... it shouldn't pose a problem...wOOwHO.....just got clearance from the cardiologist on wed....he said he would send my cardiac clearance over...yeah.....I MEET WITH MY SURGEON ON TUESDAY, AUG 18, HOPEFULLY TO SET A DATE FINALLY. I been working on this since oct 2008.  yall pray for me...i'll keep ya posted.

Well I  am so pissed....On wednesday, i went to the hospital to do my eko and nuclear stress test.  well i get to the hospital about to get the iv in my arm, and the rn starts to ask me questions about my period and the last time i had sex..... but any way i did not know nor did my refering dr. knew to tell me that before this test your are not to have sex for 10 days if you have not had a tubal ligatation or your partner has had a vasectomy. nevertheless had the eko and rescheduled for 10/29. anywho

On 10/9 i had my consult with the nutritionist.  i think it went pretty well, she seems to be very nice and knowledgable of bariatic nutrition.  she let us sample some of the protien shakes and just gave us details about the pre op diet.  the docs wants us to do the atkins diet for two weeks before the surgery i cant stand all that meat ukk (strinks liver). 

Tommorrow i will do my stress test and have an my eko cardiogram bright and early 5 or 6 hours yeah me. well that is all next....

Today was a busy day for me, since I dialze on MWF, my other doctors appointment are schedule on TTH. This appointment was not concerning WLS it wsa related to my dialysis access. painful

Wow I'm scheduled for my pulmonary teston 10/1. Things are moving along.  I've had my mind set on the lap band but now i am serious debating the RNY. I shutter at the possibility of having my innards rearranged but I do want permanent weight loss and I've read the boards where some bandsters are having there bands removed after a few years and are having revisions.  Gosh i do not want to go to through this again.
