"I am still waiting for my surgery, but Dr. Schechner is compassionate and caring. I attend his support group, and everyone loves him. It's a large support group, too (about 50 people weekly, with some attending every week, and others attending every other week). I highly recommend him.
It's been 3 months since my surgery, and Dr. Schechner is wonderful. Immediately after my surgery, I suffered major complications. He was there for me! He visited me every single day, even though I was in the hospital 20 days. He came on weekends and week days...not once did I see someone "on call" and this impressed me a lot. The follow-up care is great, too. His office staff members are well informed and compassionate.
Almost 5 years out, and I'm still wild about Dr. Schechner. He's operated on me 4 times now (twice for hernias and once for a breast biopsy, plus the original surgery), and I hope he practices forever. His staff is wonderful, although one of my favorites retired."
"What Dr. Jacobs lacks in bedside manner, he makes up for in expertise. He performed my breast reduction, tummy tuck, arm (batwing) reduction, and lower face lift, and I have been delighted with the results. My tummy tuck and breast reduction were medically necessary, but the other surgeries were self-pay. I had minor complications, but overall my recovery has been terrific, and I owe my new 'figure' to Dr. Schechner, Dr. Jacobs, and MYSELF! Dr. Jacobs is ah excellent surgeon, and if you can joke with him (and handle a few 'darlin' type comments), you'll love him. Even if you don't like teasing, you can't go wrong, because finding a great surgeon is the most important thing. I highly recommend him."
