My favorite is the cocoa mochaccino, 2nd is vanilla that I mix with fruit such as banana, strawberries, or blueberries, and 3rd is the banana scream. "Specifically I'm reviewing the banana flavor. I don't like the flavor as it comes into your mouth and you swallow it, but the banana taste comes more as an aftertaste. It's watery, I'm not as happy with it as I'd hoped to be, but am hoping I will like the other flavors better."

"I finally met the infamous Dr. de la Torre yesterday. I think from all the posts I've read about him I was expecting him to be nearly rude and abrupt, but he was actually pleasant, smiling, and personable. Perhaps he seems a little shy. As everyone says, he goes over each risk and describes everything in great detail, he also balances out each risk with some good news, usually that his rate for that particular risk is very low. He lets you know why he is considered a good surgeon, but in a very humble way. I was impressed and trust him. The exam part was very fast. He simply asked a few questions such as "do you have diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, etc."...made me wonder if he even read that packet I had to fill out and send him. My confidence in his ability has increased, and I just look forward to seeing him again in surgery! (Well, before they knock me out anyway)."

"Dr. Schumer was very supportive and encouraging. He said that he has worked with a bariatric surgeon before and talked a little about some of the things he has seen with WLS, both the good and the bad. He is very mild-mannered and kind. I would highly recommend him. "

"Dr. Callis apparently has written letters for many pre-op WLS patients. He seemed familiar with all the surgeons in MO who perform bariatric surgery, and what requirements each surgeon has for their psychological evaluations."
