After being three weeks post op, I have lost a total of 24 lbs. I am so happy. I feel a lot better and I have so much more energy. I can walk and not feel my knees and back hurting like it was before the surgery. I can't sit around watching TV and not do anything all day.
I have to start buying new clothes already because all my clothes are too big.  That will be fun.

This was a wonderful day for me. I went in at 5:30 am  Got prepared and walked into the recovery room to be prep for surgery.
I was in my room by around 11:30 am or 12:00pm. The sleeve went fast.  After I woke up I started some liquids.  I had some nausea so I got an anti nausea med. That helped. On Friday I still felt nausea, no bowel movement even though up and walking. Went to xray for a contrast dye scan of my new stomach. Got sick and threw up the two blood preasure pills the nurse had just given me.  The xray at noon and the next day. The opening of my stomach is wide enough. 
Continued on liquid diet doing well enough to go home on Tuesday.

This is my third day of liquids and I feel as if I am starving myself to death. I just want to get past thinking about eating food.  My husband is trying so hard not to eat in front of me. I just go do work in my room so not to make him feel bad.  I drink some meals at the same time with him and that is not so bad.
My surgery is on Thursday then I can see the value of waiting.

I get my sleeve April 14, 2011 at 7:30 a.m. at Scripps Green Hospital LaJolla, Ca. Dr. William Fuller is my surgeon.
I praise God for this opportunity at a chance to chage my lifestyle and take care of myself. All my pre-op labs and EKG aredone. Now for the liquid fast starting tomorrow. YEAH
