well i am new to this... never blogged before, and never on a site with that ugly word on it... obesity!! guess i have been in denial for alot of years. Yes I am overweight but I always carried it so well, (my thoughts) never looked like those others out there that are soooo large...ya right! gee have a look in the mirror and don't like what i see. I have always preached to others to not complain about it if you aren't willing to do something about it. Well today I got my appointment with my bariatric surgeon who will hopefully take me on as his patient for this surgery. so now i have no excuses left. either i follow his strict regimented program or I figure it out for myself. It is sooo totally what I need. I need help in the motivation department, and being accountable is HUGE! so easy to cheat on yourself. We can justify anything if we really want to! So thanks to a new friend, thanks Paula ,who turned me onto this wonderful site... I am turning the page on a new chapter of my life, the one where I can finally look in the mirror and be proud of myself!
