Long awaited Surgery

I have waited a long time for this.. My girl friend Val went through the process already. Val has been such a confort to me and a great help, I am truly blessed by her.
My surgery is on July 8th and I would be a liar if I told you I was not scared. I have to be ready to go that extra mile. My birthday is on july 9th, what a great present than a new take on life. I am trying to get myself mentally ready for the change of a life time.
I think the hardest for me is eating processed food.Grrrrr I had to buy these lean frozen meals to eat the next two weeks to perpare correctly for the surgery. Small price to pay to have a new life.
I hope that I can meet people to help me understand my surgery more and to be able to support each other.
