All my life I was told I was sick because I was fat. So I had a DS in 11/09. Lost over 200 pounds but got sicker. Turns out the doctors were wrong- I was suffering from a number of autoimmune diseases including seropositive Rheumatoid Arthritis. It's been a struggle going from overweight to underweight then bouncing back to a normal weight but things seem ok now.
