2nd Pre-op Appointment, Done!

Since my original pre-op appt was over 30 days old, I had to re-do everything. So, we trudged to NC enjoying the remnants of the past weeks snow, embarking on a day of tediousness. To our surprise, not only did it only take a few hours, but we had ample time to get our shop on! I met with Dr. Sudan and when he realized I was just re-doing everything from before, I only had my vitals taken, signed some paperwork, and set my 3 week post-op appointments. In and out in less than an hour! Then off to the main hospital to pre-register and talk with anesthesiology. Here's where it gets really weird, in this vast hospital, I actually got the same exact people that assists me in Jan! From registration, to anesthesiology, to the lab tech...and each one remembered me! How's that for a kick in the pants!!!!

I absolutely love traveling to NC. Granted, we have many of the same stores here in VA, but the sales, prices, and taxes are different and less expensive. So, not only do I get a chance to mingle with grown folk (who are outside of my area), I get to shop!

Did I mention the outlets and the mall that is right down the street from the hospital? EHEHE Yes, I'm so going to enjoy my post-op appointments...
