"The nurses were excellent. I felt like I was part of this big family. Eventhough the hospital has bariatric patients, some of the rooms where they have the patients are not equipped with toilets that are able to withstand 300+lbs. According to the hospital administrator, "the toilet will break away from the wall". I felt that ironic being my room housed a 360+lbs patient. But overall my stay was good. Oh by the way, they put portable potties in the room for the 300+lb patient and guests."
"I was impressed with Dr.Babineau the first time I met him. He is very thorough in his explanation of the risks. He tells you how he does the procedure. His first consultation is in a group setting and then he takes each individual back to his office for a personal consultation. I really enjoyed the group setting because it allowed me to hear answers to questions I probably would not ask. Freda (his nurse)is wonderful. I like her honesty and down home personality. I would highly recommend Dr. Babineau based on my pre-op experiences."
