I basically remained the same weight until I got older, then the pounds started to increase. Being that I am so short, I always said if I get over 200 pounds, I was going to have to do something about it. So just like many other people I went on a diet, it made me feel ill, but I tried, it didn't work and it was driving me crazy because now I was gaining even more weight. So now I am at the point were I need help. I just cant do this on my own. So here I am, just waiting to see if I qualify to do the surgery, then this will be the beginning of my new life, a healthier one. I sure would love to hear from other who may be waiting or have gone through it. 9/1/08
