One year anniversary yesterday! Feel great.
Just came back from a 10 day vacation. Didn't gain an ounce! Never been able to say that before.
My BMI is still in the overweight category but I really don't want to lose anymore.
Maybe I'll just never be normal. That's ok.

39 weeks, 180 lbs lost! I did it.

Well it's been 21 weeks since surgery and I've lost 102 lbs. With the 31 lbs pre surgery its a total of 133 lbs.
I feel really good. Getting alot of "you look great" comments now. No regrets!
When I started this I thought 178 lbs. I'll never make it. Now looking at 45 to go, I can do it! 

It made 8 weeks on Monday since my surgery. Down 47 lbs since surgery. 31 pounds pre surgery.
I'm feeling really good. I've had a couple of times where I think I ate to fast and got the foamies! 
Not a good feeling. Other than that I'm completely happy with my decision to have surgery.

Looking forward to the summer!  

Went back to work Monday. Feeling really good. I've only had one food issue. I ate some ground turkey and it almost came up. I think I ate it to fast. Really hurt for a little while.
My weight loss is good. 29lbs since surgery. Nice to put on clothes that are not tight!
I go to stage 5 next Monday. Pretty satisfied with what I've been eating lately.
All in all I'm doing great!

Came home yesterday morning. I guess I was a little slower than most.
Everything went well. Had a little issue with the upper GI the day after surgery. Just
couldn't keep it down. Alot more pain than I expected but hey I'm a guy. We can't take pain.
Today I got all my requirements done. Protein shakes, vitamin, prevacid,calcium and sugar free kool aid!
Might try one of the snacks I can have tomorrow. Walked to the mailbox and around the house. 
I'm definitely on my way now! 

This time tomorrow I'll be on the losers bench! I started this AM on the pre surgery liquid diet. 
Finishing my shopping list today so I'll have everthing I need when I come home.
Everything has gone great so far.
Dream big, Work hard! I'll get there.

I finally got the call this AM. I'm scheduled for March 7th.
Very excited but nervous too.
My insurance company was a pain. They sent me a denial letter
then an approval letter. What a range of emotions with that!
Once the surgeons office got the right letter they immediatlely scheduled
the surgery.

Went to see Dr. Looser for the first time yesterday. Everything went well.
Now I wait for insurance approval. The office wasn't much help.
They said anywhere from a week to a month. Oh well.

Mon the 17th I had all my pre testing done, Upper GI, Ultrasound, Chest X-ray, Blood work, EKG. I think they all went well.
Appt with Dr. Looser Jan 25th.
Wondering what the next step will be after my appt.
