I am 7 months post-op and have lost 93 pounds and I feel amazing !!!! I stepped on the scale this morning and it was 199  !!! I cant remember the last time I weighed under 200 pounds ...

I am 5 months Post- Op and feeling great.... I have lost 70 pounds.. This was the best decision I ever made..

Its been about seven weeks since I had Gastric Bypass and I feel great. I have lost 31 pounds so far. Somedays are a struggle as far as getting all my fluids and protein in but other then that i have had no problems thank GOD !!!. I never thought I would have to remember to eat i feel like a child being forced to eat. I am never hungry and nothing taste as good as it did before surgery... And my sense of smell has become unbelievable i can't stand certain smells. But I will keep everybody posted during my journey...

I went to the doctors today for my one week check up and i have lost nine pounds in one week !!!!  

I am home from the hospital and finely starting to feel better..... I spent 4 days in the hospital. I had to stay while my roommate Kendra was on her way home ..I was unable to keep anything down the first three days  and then on the 4th day I had to go for a swallowing evaluation to make sure I had no leaks... Thank God I did not !!!!  I started to feel better as the day went on and was discharged @ almost 9:00 pm....Now I am home and on my way to recovery....God Bless

I cant even believe my day has finally come !!!!! I have to be at the hospital tomorrow @ 6:45 am.. Good luck to everyone else having surgery tomorow... My thoughts and prayers are with you all....

My doctors office called today and my insurance approved my surgery !!! I will be having surgery August 10, 2009....

I had my first class tonight.... It was fun and interesting !!! Just three more classes to go.......

Today is June 27, 2009 And I am officially going to start my Educational Classses on July 6th !!! I am scared, nervous and excited... I have done all my nutrionist and physchology appointments and on June 30th I will have my last phone call with my coach from the "I Can Change Program " I had to go through that program for my insurance company. I am hoping I have no problems getting the approval from the insurance company.
