"I was terrified the first time I met Dr K. I was late for my appointment because of an accident on the turnpike, then I got lost trying to find the clinic. I thought for sure he would tell me to turn back around and drive the two hours to go home. Not the case, he waited there for me to arrive safely. The first thing he said was for me to calm down, things happen and he didnt mind waiting and he was just happy I was there safe.rnMy next appointment with him, my oldest son came along, as he had some questions and concerns as well about the surgery. Not many doctors would take the time to explain what was going to happen in terms that a teenager would understand. He was very open, honest and caring of not only my feelings and concerns but my childrens as well.rnDr. K has the BEST bedside manner you can ask for. The day of surgery, he joked with me, to help calm my fears of being put to sleep. He also sat with my family in the waiting area prior to surgery, spoke with my mom about her fears as well. A very caring man!rnI was very sorry to find out he left Barix, but know he will bring much happiness to those who choose him as their surgeon at the present hospital he is at now. "
