i HAD MY SURGERY ON WEDNESDAY APRIL 30. 2008 AND I AM NOW ON THE WAY TO WHAT I CALL MY LINDA IN WONDERLAND WORLD!!!!!!!  YEAH I HAD A GREAT DOCTOR, DR. HENDRICK YOU JUST KICK TOTAL ASS!!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST AND THE TEAM AT HARPER HOSPITAL WERE EXCELENT.  I ALSO HAD SOME COHORTS THAT I FOUND THROUGH MY SURGERY THAT WERE JUST GREAT TO TALK TO AND TO BOND WITH AND I HOPE THAT THEY ARE DOING JUST A WELL AS I AM OR EVEN BETTER.

So I have been really going crazy and getting myself in a Tizzy over this surgery.  I went to a support group meeting on Monday and after the meeting I talked to the women in t he office about my surgery and I am so sorry t hat I got really upset ( not mad and yelling) but like shot down and crying as my date had not been set and would be another 2 months due to my insurance.  I know it is not the offices problem but I am waiting and waiting!!!!   
So today I get a call asking me if I am able to do surgery on April 30th!!!!  YES I CAN.  I can do any day that is offered.
Also I have lost 16 lbs so far doing my WLS diet, I have cut our most of my carbs, and am eating really healthy except for the pork rinds(I know I am sort of addicted to them that is just for the time being that is).

So I am waiting VERY VERY IMPATIENTLY I might say for the exact date of my surgery!!!!  I have been approved by my insurance carrier but I have to wait till the end of Feburary beginning of March for my surgery as my Dr will be doing limited surgeries.  He has some travling to do and limits his surgerie, which I don't blame him at least not all that much:).  So am still looking for my date to magically pop up.

Got medical clearance!!!!!!!!!  So on Monday I am dropping it off to see when I get to have my surgery!!!!!!!
