Hey EVERYONE! My name is Rhasi and I am beginning the final month of my 6 month supervised weight management as required by insurance company... Hopefully, I will be having laproscopic gastric bypass at the end of May or beginning of June.... I am 38 years old and the mother of a handsome 15 year old high school freshman. I have battled my weight for the majority of my adult years... I have tried every diet, weight management over the counter or prescription required diet there is and actually did well on them my issue is not losing weight; it is maintianing and keeping the weight off.... Through some deep soul searching I have found that there were issues that I need to deal with on the inside in order to be successful. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead of me and ecstatic about getting my life back... Currently, I am somewhat of a hermit because I do not like the way that I look.... I am at my heaviest ever at 273lbs and feel like I am a butterfly preparing to spread my wings...... I look forward to meeting people who have gone through or are going through what I am. I believe that support is imperative to the success of this process. I look forward to learning something new from my new friends.. Peace and Blessings...
