"I was very happy with everything until the last night and next day. The night nurse really didn't care much about anything she was just cold. The lady next to me was in a lot of pain and did not get the care she really needed. The next morning the new nurse was very scatterbrained and often lost in her own world. She lost a sample needed to get me discharged. She was never available and when she was she was blaming everyones problems on depression and discussing her personal medications. Anna came up and talked to me and was very nice. Of course the nurse had told her I was depressed which I was not. I was just frustrated. Anna, the first set of nurses and the nurses aides were great. The last two nurses might want to check out other professions."

Bruce Schirmer

"I was very impressed by Dr. Schirmer. He is very busy, but takes the time to make you feel important. His office staff is very friendly. From the time you walk in to the time you leave. I was there from 7:45am until 4:30pm for my consultation. There is a mandatory meeting in the am with Anna Miller to discuss risks, rewards, and the actual procedure. Her husband is the insurance coordinator. He is very helpful and informed. I also met a dietician and had blood work done all in the same day. He emphasizes aftercare. So far I am very impressed with him and his staff. I feel that he is not only surgically competent but will have a super bedside manner. Anyone going for their first visit should bring a snack and good book. Be prepared for a very long day."
