3 1/2 weeks after lapband 12/23/08

Okay I have been busy an have not posted to my blog. I have been working alot. I have been the  thru 3 weeks post surgery eating schedule. Liquids -pureed -soft. That has been the biggest adjustment for me. And the eating slower, chewing slower. I have lost 22 pounds so far. It seems like I should have lost more but I have been drinking the protein shakes and they have more carbs/calories in them than I would like. I also think that while I have been on liquids/broth my metabolism has slowed down. I have started introducing some softer solid food into my diet. And I think this will help. I absolutely hate the Whey soy Protein Shakes. They taste good going in, but the after-taste is nasty.I go back to the doctor Jan 6th , possibly for a fill. So I will be weighing at his office and that is the scale that I am really going by.
