"I want to thank Dr. Ver Steeg for doing my surgery. If I didn't have it done, I may not have been here today. I was so bad; I was walking with 2 canes. I just wanted to sit, it was too hard for me to move. Now after surgery I feel so good, I can do things that I never thought I would do again. I have a lot of energy and want to be going all the time. I have been exercising 2-3 days a week. I work out on the machines and walk on the treadmill. I like to go for walks, go for walks, go biking and I even down on the floor to play with my grandson. This summer ( July 2004 ) I played volleyball at our gastric by pass group picnic. It has been 17 months since I had surgery. I can't thank Dr.Ver Steeg enough for doing my surgery, which saved my life."
