Colleen: I want you to know that you have been a wonderful NEW friend to me all through our WLS journey! With you having your surgery only three weeks before mine, you have been my guide as to what can/will happen and what things shouldn't/won't happen. You are a wonderful resource to me, and I appreciate your sincere concerns for me. I look forward to one year from now to see where we both will be! I am excited about the future, aren't you? Hi this is Leigha Again. Sorry about the no update yesterday.. I was busy. My mom is doing good. They removed catheder? and the blood tube thing. I forget what it is called. She was in pain today. Yeasterday she had about 10 visitors. She has recive alot of gifts. Her new friend Melanie and her husband came to see her today.She Is coming home tomrrow and will be up and moving around! hope you're doing good,keep positive.I had my surgery 5-11-2001- I lost 169lbs so far and still lossing but it has slowed down alot I feel great and everyone says how did you do it.soon it will be you and you'll be amazed how in just 3-6 months how differnt you will be...keep your chin up...bingomamma323.com

Congratulations on a successful surgery. I had mine at Kettering also last October; I am down 120 lbs. Remember to walk, walk, walk, and drink, drink and you'll feel much better and lose quicker! Sudy in Fairborn, Ohio

Colleen: Even though we have spoken at our Maguire Support Group and now over the phone, I just wanted to express how happy I am for your decission to go through with what it takes to begin again. I am grateful that we met through your posting at this site. I was looking for someone to "connect" with since we share the same doctor, and I am so happy that you DID respond to that very first e-mail I sent you. I will be having surgery just three weeks after you, and you have been my guiding light through this just by you telling me what to expect step-by-step. Thank you for everything. You make it less scarey for me!

Hi this is Colleen's Daughter Leigha. My mom is doing good she gets spazums.. She says it really hurts but she is doing great... Just an update. Well I have to go now and eat.... She doesn't have a phone.. Her roon number is 263 bed 2 and on the 2nd. floor. well talk to you later... Bye next update tomrrow
