I am feeling really good this month. I have been able to drink at least 1 protein shake a day...I know I need to get to 3, but 1 is better than nothing! I have also been taking water aerobics 3 times a week. I have more energy then before.
Today we went to Value Village for clothes. I took a few sizes into the dressing room. I'm now a size 14! and a large in shirts! I was so excited! So, I bought large and medium shirts and sweaters and size 14 and 12 pants. I should be set for awhile. It is fun to go get a whole new wardrobe!

This month has been difficult. The scale moves down a bit then up a bit. I have been stuck in the 170's. But, I have not gotten in my protein or vitamins like I should. The past week has been better. I am still having trouble with the protein, but the vits are going down! Yea! And the scale is finally moving! I am at 170 now. Exactly 50 pounds down now!!! Yea! I fit into size 16 pants. So, I am finally seeing some changes. I see M.O. people in town and feel sorry for them because I was right there 3 months ago. I wish I could go talk to them and give them Dr. Oh's card. (they may not like that)
So, my next "thing" is to start exercising. I am thinking about water aerobics. It is for an hour twice a week. Then, of course, walking.

Lying in bed this morning, I could feel my rib cage! I have a ribcage!!! I can't wait to feel my collarbones!!

I lost 2 more pounds so I am not feeling sorry for myself today. I also took some imodium. I am hoping that will stop my runs.

I made it through the first week. I have been feeling good up until today. I don't know if it is hormones, or what is out of whack, but I am feeling extremely sorry for myself. I am still on clear liquids, for another 3WEEKS. My doctor added the protein shakes today. I have had horrendous diahrrea for a week now. Doc says this is also normal and will stop with the protein shakes. I haven't really lost much weight since surgery, besides the water weight, my a** is sore, my incisions are sore, and I can't eat anything with substance. I would kill for some refried beans now. I know that things will be better tomorrow. Today they just suck. I just want to cry. But, I know that I am getting healthier by the day and also stronger by the day. I go back to work next Tues. I need the rest now, but I think I really need to get my mind on other things for a portion of the day. I am still glad I got this done and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
