Surgery Date

Well here we go with my story. Well my date is scheduled for Jan 13 we will find out if insurance will approve this week. I am pretty confident it will get approved so I won't have to go thru the hassle of a couple of appeals. Was not always overweight played lot of sports in high school kept me in pretty good shape growing up although I was a little chubby kid prior to starting to play on the basketball team in the 8th grade. Finished high and entered the restaurant busines so you can see all the pounds started about 3 years afterword. Found out the hard way that I had  diabetes about 4 years ago. Have a couple of friends at work who had weight loss surgery did not really think much of it since I thought was not morbidly obese like they were but I am about 100 pounds overweight based on my height. At 1 point  I was pushing almost 350 but the crashes I had (2) with diabetes led me to lose about 65 but still overweight. So last year my good buddy gbron (george) and I made a pact to switch our insuranse and go thru the journey together. Well after wasting 6months of doing nothing I finally started the process with my doctor. My doctor refered me to Dr. Whitwell here in Miami and I scheduled to go to a seminar. Had to kind of get off my butt to do this and drag my buddy along. Ya see george is a very smart guy likes to  think things over before acting but his health was more pressing than mine. So we finally started the journey and I am now waiting for approval this week. And George is now 4 months out and have lost 70 pounds and looks great!  Well will check in again based on approval or not until then see ya.
