I am the mother of a beautiful 13 year old girl who is my pride and joy. I've been on the larger side of things for most of my life. I've tried so many different ways to become healthy and nothing lasts for long. So, I decided in November 2008, to look into bariatric surgery. I never thought that I would take this step....but here I am! I'm happy with me...all 320 lbs.(as of 5/20), but I know that I'm at risk for many different illnesses because of my weight. I've been blessed so far, and I am completely healthy from diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. but I do have PCOS. I'm just extra, extra, extra thick! So, I think that I could probably lose one or two of those "extras" so I can improve my health. LOL! So, basically that's my story in a very condensed way!
