Rose, I hope you are doing well after surgery. I saw one of your posts about unsupportive people and I can already see it coming for me!! I am pre-op (surgery June 15th) and am just now starting to tell co-workers. My BMI is 77, so there is no doubt I need the surgery. I am also a nurse-one of my nurse co-workers had the surgery several years ago and people are so cruel about her sometimes. For example, I have heard them talking behind her back about how she is regaining her weight and how she eats all the wrong things, etc. People can be so cruel!! Well, anyway, I just wanted to tell you to hang in there and to know that someone who doesn't even know you is proud of you for making a very difficult choice so as to make life better for yourself and your family. This choice was yours to make, no one else's-just try to remeber that if you encounter any more negativity. Connie
