I got my date for surgery! It's April 15th. I am kinda nervous. But my friends and a family assure me It will be ok. I never had surgery before so I am not sure what I am getting myself into. I just hope that god is with me every step of the way. Well wish me luck!

Today me and a couple of girl friends are going to Celebrate!!!! We are going to have margaritas!! Yummmy!! What is it that I am Celebrating you ask? I got appoved for surgery! My insurance approved it!!! I am so happy! I can't wait! Well, I told them that I would like to be scheduled for April 15th! So they will be calling to Confirm in a couple of days! Well, I will keep you posted!

Well I called Pacific Bariatrics again! And they faxed a letter to my insurance company on Feb. 19th. It takes about 14 business days to get a response! So I am still waiting!! I asked, "If I were to get approved (crossing my fingers)  more or less, when will I get scheduled !" They informed me around the second or third week of March. Dr. Tanaka is already scheduling for the Month of March! So things are looking good so far. I will keep you all posted!

Good news! I called Pacific Bariatrics on Monday the 11th, and they told me that I have been approved. The surgeon, psycholoist, internal medicine Doctor, and nutritionist all gave me the ok for the surgery!  Now its all up to the insurance company! I am crossing my fingers! Hopefully will here something in the next 1-2 Weeks!

I went to my evaluations! And it went great! I first had to see a Nutritionist! And she was very nice! She gots me on a 1200 calorie diet! I have been trying very hard to portion my food! So, wish me luck with that. After that I went to see the Surgeon. And that went rather fast. He told me too loose 10 more pounds and to take multi-vitamin, vitamin-c, B-12 and Tiamine B-1. So I am on it! I bought my vitamins and I am hitting up the gym! I am off to good start! Then, I went too see the psychologist! That went well, she ask me questions and I answerd! Then at the end she said that she had nothing negative to write in her report ( i am assuming she is apporoving me) and that if everyone agrees I should be scheduled next month (FEBUARY) WOW its going real fast! After the Psych! I went to the Internal Medical Doc. They did an EKG and he read me my lab work! Everything came out great! He told me that I would be a good canidate for surgery! So, what do you think? You think they will all approve me? I hope so!!

I finally got my evaluation date! It is set for the 23rd of January! I am really nervous. I am afraid of not getting apporoved for this surgery! I've notice my weight gain since the 6th grade. Its been hard to avoid all the junk food and fast food places! Everywhere you turn there is a Mc Donald's or Carl's Jr.! Damn!! Burgers!! HA HA! Can you tell thats my weekness? And Ice Cream too! ha ha! Well, I gave all that up so I guess I am getting off to a good start! Its been a tough start but I guess its like that for everyone. I hope things will get easier!
