For the 3rd time I've attended a free seminar and saw a doctor. This time feels different, like I have a fighting chance.  The Gastro doctor referred me to a surgeon who does WLS along with taking care of my gallbladder.  Both agreed if my Cardiologist won't sign off this time, we'll find one who will.  They both have experience with patients like me with DVTs and on Coumadin.  It scared me when they stated my risk of being morbid obese is greater than the risk of another blood clot!!  I've struggled with 2 herniated discs since the first of the year and lots of nerve pain in my leg.  No more of this.  I found another user on the site who has the same insurance as me and they got approved.  Surgeon consult is Febr. 11.  Time to get living!!!
