Hi, I'm Tasha! I am 1 month post-op (tomorrow actually 4/24/08). I had RYN gastric bypass on 3/24/08... done by Dr. Le at Kaiser SSF. I have struggled with my weight for years. I was always very athletic, even though as I got older, I started to gain weight. I have been through a lot in life, but am thankful for each and every experience. They have made me the woman, wife and mother I am today.
I am married to my high school sweetheart (technically jr. high) and we've been married for almost 8years. I have 3 beautiful and amazing kids. Elijah (age 7), Kiannah (age 6) and Josiah (age 4 1/2). My family is my life!
I am jazzed about what the months ahead have for me. I have lost a total of 80lbs so far. 50 prior to surgery and 30 since. I look forward to meeting others who are on the same journey as I am.
