I can't believe it has been over 5 years since I have posted :) I went to get my support people back but now I am in a new state/new town. looking forward to meeting a new OH community and maybe even start a clothing exchange here in Colorado :) I got all the way down to 170 at my lowest. I am currently 185-190 depending on the month year day I weigh in. I would like to get back down to 170 then see about getting this extra skin off this year. Hoping for a great 2014 :) 

I am currently down 94 pounds. I was hoping by newyears that I would be down 100 but I guess it may come a little later.  I have not lost anything the past month. But I have not done so good on getting my protein in and such like. So my goal for hte next week is really concentrate on getting it all in and seeing if it will do anything to jump start losing again.

I have lost a total weight of 47 pounds. Not to bad with only being almost 3 months out.  I am having some problems with my gallbladder but other than that I have had no complications. I am still not eating a whole lost and rely mostly on protein drinks.

 

I can't believe I actually have a date. It seems like I have been waiting for years for this (i kind of have). I am really excited. Alot of things are happening to me this year. I am starting my career in Real estate and now this surgery. What an awesome year this is going to be for me. 

I guess it has been a while since I have updated. Well here is the run down. 

I heard back from my insurance. They told me I needed 12 months of diet supervised diet. Indiana has a law that they can only require 6 months, but since my insurance is in IL. they go by that states laws so I had to complete 12 months. 

They sent in the approval packet in Janurary and I received my letter feburary 9th 2008 that I am approved. I am now waiting for the date of my surgery. 

I think the hardest part of this all is the waiting. You have to wait on everyone and at every part of the approval process. 

Well I now have my 6 month diet in. They mailed the packet to my insurance last friday so now I am just in the waiting game. It could take up to 4 weeks to approve me. I am hoping that is not the case.  I am shooting to have my surgery the beginning of september.

I am a 29 year old stay at home mom. I love spending time with my daughter reagan who is around 16 months. Right now don't have to many hobbies but I love to read. Everything else seems to revolve around her right now.

I am just starting on my approval journey. I need to pick out a doctor for my primary. I have aetna insurance and when I called them they said wls is not covered but no fear I am going to ask anyway through my primary and go from there. and like all the other ladies say appeal! appeal! appeal!

I now have an appointment with Dr. Lukens. recommended from a lady here on OH. I have an appointment on Feburary 13 week seems so far away but I know it will fly. Looking forward to that first appointment. Wish me luck and pray for a fast 6 months of dieting.

I haven't updated in a very long long time but here it goes. Last year kind of fell through. My husbands insurance had an exclusion which prohibited me from getting the surgery so I stopped the 6 month diet program. Well low and behold they changed insurances and it wa changed to BCBS and they cover it! So right now I am in the process of the 6 month supervised weight loss. I will be going to my second appointment march the 16 then I have one month down and 5 more to go.
