Yeaaaa, I am so glad I can have Eggs and Chicken and Tuna Salads  now.  Even though it is very little that I can hold it is so much better than Broth!  LOL  I am getting used to taking the smaller bites and making sure my food is chewed very well.  I don't want anything to get stuck so believe me I chew like crazy.....LOL  I am cautious about everything I am almost worried to go onto the next stage afraid something will get stuck....

Ok, I had my two week post - op visit and am doing very well.  I was down 13 pounds from the morning of my surgery so yeaaa...  I feel great and I can't wait till I can eat real food again even if it is very little!!!  It'll be here before I know it.. 

I wish my surgery buddy was feeling as good as I was.  GOD love her heart I think our long drive (due to 2 wrecks) did her in.  She just was not feeling good at all Friday.  She ended up having to get some meds for nausea and when we got home she had to have 2 IV's because she was a bit dehydrated, but she got to have her bath that she was a long time coming. 

I had my surgery this past Wednesday and so far I am feeling great.  I was groggy the first day but got up and walked a bit anyway.  By the next day I was up walking several laps around the hopital every hour.  I can't wait however to get through the liquids stage.  There are only so many options for a  liquid diet...LOL

I have one week until my surgery, yes, I am starting to get anxious and nervous all at the same time.  I keep telling myself it will be July before I know it and the worst will probably be over by then...
