6/10/07 was my five year anniversary and I've maintained my weight from a year ago with much hard work, discipline, and determination. I stay within five pounds of my goal weight of 125, but it definitely takes determination. This was, by far, the best thing I've done for myself and I would recommend it to anyone who has struggled with their weight but can't seem to get a handle on permanent weight loss. I always caution people that it is just a tool to get the wieght off, though. After that, all the tools we never used consistently before must become a part of your life or you WILL eventually gain the weight back - proper eating, excercise, discipline, self-control, etc. Use the time between weight loss and maintenance wisely!
