3wk post surgery update

As the date for my surgery got closer overwhelming fear and panic set in. Today, 3/19/08, I went in for a 3 week post-op visit and I was overwhelmed by so many wonderful feelings.
I bumped into my surgery buddy (a really nice lady that I shared the hospital room with who just happened to be my surgeon's first case the day I had surgery for the exact same procedure). I was amazed to see that the scale registered me at 199.6 lbs - I haven't been under 200 since the birth of my son in 2000! The nutrionist and surgeon were all congratulating me on my success on the post-op care/diet. I haven't felt this great in a LONG time.
