Scott Melvin

"My first impression with Dr. Melvin was that he was very professional and had a lot of information right off the bat. I had a few pages of questions I had and he took the time to answer all of them. I had my boyfriend, mom and dad with me and that wasn't a problem with him either, which was nice. His office staff was very nice. He addressed the risks of surgery and told me everything I needed to know. "

Ohio State University Medical Center

"The staff was VERY VERY nice, no one was ever rude, however, the response time was not the best. I would wait a half hour for medicine or to get help putting my blood pressure cuffs back on my legs. At one point I buzzed someone and said I felt very faint and needed an ice pack. Someone came by a half hour later and said "did you need something? " Luckily, that feeling passed. :) The nurses station was almost directly across from my room, but they had absolutely no respect for patients in the evening trying to sleep. They were joking and laughing and yelling back and forth to each other, and I know probably no one in that hall got any rest, so bring headphones!! Also, I didn't get to see my surgeon at all during my stay, just residents, and the aftercare directions were basically general aftercare, nothing really to do with my surgery and it left me feeling pretty lost in knowing what to do excatly!"
