 surgery was AUG 24.    ok i am  now 2weeks post op. and ive already lost 15 pounds.   making totall weight loss 45 pounds.  I still have pain at the large insion site where stomach was removed. but i am doing so much better, i dont have to lie around on the couch any more... yay..lol will keep yall posted.

Im new here to the site, I have recieved green lights from everyone, and tomorrow I meet with the Dr to schedule surgery date. So Im guessin it will be in July. But will know more details tomorrow. I have lost 15 pounds, I think,(or somewhere in there) since preparing for the surgery.  I will be going for the gastric sleeve, unless they feel that the other one is necessary. We all have reasons for doing the surgery, mine is because I had some life changing issues, which one was a medical necesity to have a complete hysterectomy, due to a fast growing tumor, 4 years ago now. With Hormones less, and being over 40, that made it hard to loose the weight that I had gained from that,  and I became stuck, and I have tried evrything with no prevail.  Im ready to take the next step, which is surgery :)  thanks for listening, talk to ya later
