Like most of you I am a person who has a disease and that disease is obesity, Something I have been all of my life. I Have been through the ups and downs, the now and the same, before and afters and want that cycle to end.
i had original RNY back in August 2000. I got my weight down to 215 at my lowest while 340 was my starting weight. I keep this weight off for approx 17 yrs. I am not disgusted or embarrassed about my weight Regain because knowing I was able to maintain for that time frame is unimaginable without the RNY surgery.
I am now in the process of going for the revision from RNY to VSG, I had my enterscopy done today and will see my surgeon in 2 weeks. I am 289 as of today.
i received my surgery date for the end of the month...Not excited! I'm not sure how I feel actually
