Sherry, I am so sorry about the death of your friend. My friend that began the surgery research and process with me also died about a month after my surgery, one week after hers. That was last September, and I miss her all the time. Time makes the pain a little less sharp, but we never really recover from the loss of those we love. My friend's name was Donna Sublett- you can read about her on the memorial page. You might do a posting for your friend there, too. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your friend will be watching over you on your journey.

Dear Sherry, I was very sad to hear about your friend that has past. Isn't this what we all fear? I know you will miss her terribly. But take it from someone that has lost her only son it will get better with time. You grieve for her but not for yourself you have survived and she would want you to live on. I will pray for you I know the pain is unbearable and I understand your lost. May God bless you in this most confusing time of your life.

Sherry, I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend Trina. Everytime I hear of someone passing away after surgery it really gets to me. My prayers are with you and your family and Trina's family. I can imagine what you and they are going through, that was my biggest fear going into surgery. My friend had hers' 6 weeks before mine. Take care, hon.
