I am a 37 year old mother of two who is not finding that living life is hard. I developed cardiomyopathy when I was pregnant with my first son and then ended up in full blown heart failure with my second son. My weight hasn't always been an issue. I used to be skinny like everyone else in my family.
When I got sick, My weight started going up as I had to go on so many different meds that could alter you weight and cause swelling. Then I quit work and the pounds kept coming on. Now at a woping 271 I am taking charge of my life. I want to get healthy.
I know that I will never be able to do everything I want but at least I have a chance of watching my boys grow up now that I have decide to change my way of life. I am so glad there is this option for those of us like this. I was supposed to have the sleeve but it was denied by insurance so now I am going to have the bypass.
