"I liked Dr. Herron a lot, right from the first minute I met him.
He was very easy to talk to, answered all questions and explained everything in detail (with drawings, of course). This includes, of course, all the risks involved. In my case, he went thru the pros and cons of the Duodenal Switch surgery vs. RNY.
However, the way the office is run is a different story. They seem to lose papers a lot. Things have to be faxed multiple times - at least I had to. They are very nice to talk to over the phone (since I live out of state) and also respond to emails quickly.
Bottom line: Dr. Herron is an excellent surgeon who also posesses great bedside manners. Great combo!"
