I haven't posted in a while...Been trying to adjust to my new body and trying to figure out what's going on with it.  My Mom moved in with me in November and that's been an ongoing adjustment!  It's been very stressful for me and I think that had alot  to do with my weight loss yo yo....Up 2 lbs down 3....Things seem to be getting alot better for me now, I feel better about my self.... I will be posting new pics soon!!   So far I'm down just about 70 lbs and I feel great !!!! I don't get sick at all, I can just about anything, including sugar....  There are alot of temptations in my house, my Mom seems to always buys cakes, cookies, chips, etc.... So I'm battling to stay on track.  I've had problems with gout and the treatment for gout is taking Motrin, Naproxen, etc....Things I can't take so it takes longer for it to subside.  My hair was getting thin, and I was really depressed about that, I started taking biotin and that helped alot...But I'm doing great now, I do jazzercise Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday mornings, I have so much energy now!!  I'm having trouble with getting in enough water daily.  The way you can tell if you're drinking enough is when your urine is clear, so that's my daily daily is to make sure it's clear.  Thank God for the support of my OH family!!   I will try and post more and keep everyone up-to date!

Well, tomorrow will be a week since surgery, and I am already so tired of jello, sugar free popsicles, and broth!!!I'm not hungry at all, but everyone around is eating and my mind says eat something...I want a egg sooooooo bad!  Every commerical on TV has something to do with eating!! This stage is horrible!!!    Even alittle oatmeal would be nice!!!   Does anyone have any suggestions on how to survive this stage???  I don't know if I can take much more of this!  HELP!!!

I am feeling pretty good!  I've just been having a little problem with my asthma...I have really bad allergies and I haven't been able to take my zyrtec, so I think the little cough I have will be alleviated today.  I took a zyrtec this morning and I'm feeling better. I am already getting tired of just liquids, I've only been drinking water, although I thought I could have gatorade, and yesterday I was feeling really bloated...I think that had something to do with the gatorade...This morning I feel better not so bloated....I'm not really a broth person, mainly because of the salt...I've always been salt conscience because of my blood pressure....I've been eating jello and sugar free popscicles....Everything is staying down fine! No pain...just soreness!  Did you have problems will gas and the bloated feeling?

I MADE IT!!!!  GOD IS GOOD!Well my surgery was scheduled for 11:00a.m...and I actually got in and they started prepping me at about 11:30.  I was out in no time!  I guess I was sleeping too good, because they said I didn't want to wake up!  I got back to the room about 7:00p.m. They started me on just ice chips for the first day or so, and then I moved up to clear liquids....They also had a lightweight exercise session for the folks that had the surgery, there was about 7 of us in the class.  That was cool, everyone could compare notes..But I'm home and feeling great!  My only complaint is the gas...I feel bloated and the gas is no joke!!! But overall, I feel alot better than I expected to feel and I am so thankful to God for allowing me to have a second chance at life!!!   I am officially on the "Loser's Road" to a new life!!  Thanks to all of the well wishers and all of your thoughts and prayers to get me through this!!  It definitely worked!!  Now I have to get some rest, feeling alittle tired!!!  I will type a new post soon!

Well, my day is almost here....a couple of days away!!I am excited to finally be able to lose weight and to start my new journey....But nervous about starting and wondering if I will do okay with my new eating regimen...Also, thinking the worst if I don't make it...My family needs me, especially my kids! But I will put my surgery in God's hands I know he will not take me away, I still have so much work to do!!!I'm doing my last minute stuff, making sure I have everything for my hospital stay, and hubby and the kids have food and stuff to eat while I'm gone.....My dog had 12 puppies on Oct. 3rd, but one didn't make it,  so we've been super busy!!! Hubby will have his work cut out for him while I'm gone! Well, I better get going and finish up my chores...Just wanted to remind everyone...and to keep me in your prayers!!!

Wow, I am sooooo excited!!!   I finally got a date! I'm officially on my way to a new life!!!!! 

I finally got a chance to officially meet Dr. Zorn!!He was very nice and he had a since of humor too!  He was very thorough in explaining the surgical procedure and answering all of my questions. I met with the psychologist first, the internist and finally Dr. Zorn..I was cleared by all three so now I'm waiting for my date!  I'm getting nervous now...It seems like it came too fast already!

I GOT MY CONSULT  DAY!!! AUG. 18TH !!!!

I'M ON MY WAY!!!!!!

Now,  all I need now is for Pacific Bariatric to contact me to set up my consultation with the surgeon!!!!!!!  Yes!!!!!!!!!
