"Man, these were awful. I couldn't finish even one. I tried chocolate dipped strawberry and apple cinnamon. I have lemon cheesecake and blueberry, too but am afraid to try them. Good protein content, lousy taste. They didn't want to go down my throat and got kind of stuck. No thanks. I'll stick with the EAS shakes. "
"I was surprised how good it tasted. A friend sent me two samples from Chicago. I had strawberry/banana this morning for breakfast and it was really good. Not gritty or sour-tasting like some others I've tried. Will have to invest in these for sure."
"Not sure yet which surgeon I will get but am changing to definetly go through the Peoria Surgical Center at St. Francis Hospital. I like the way they do things so far and my mom is having her surgery there next week (April 25, 2002). I have my education classes May 6, 2002 and my surgeon visit on May 7, 2002. Then psych evaluation and schedule the date (providing insurance approves)!!
5-7-02 Well, I went for the education and support group last night and it was great. Got to meet Dr. Rossi today and liked him a lot. He's very personable and funny and knowledgable. He believes I can have my surgery lap and is confident he can handle my calcium problems. I cannot wait to get this ball rolling!"
"Dr. Duncan has been my PCP for a few years now and when I approached him recently regarding WLS, he was very supportive, offering to write letters and anything else he could do to help. I love Dr. Duncan. He's the best."
