Good luck to you as you continue on your journey. I am glad that you came through the surgery without any problems and congratulations on your weight loss so far. I can't wait to join you on the losing side.

...Well, it has been 2 weeks today since my surgery and I am feeling better. I have lost 15 lbs. so far. I feel like my energy level isn't totally back yet, but I am sure when I start eating more foods, it will improve. I have my post-op check-up with Dr. Sherer tomorrow so I will ask him about my energy level. Maybe my Iron is low, I will have him check that for me. I am very glad that I had this surgery, I have to really focus on what I eat. I ate out today for the first time and had a tuna wrap. I took one bite and didn't like it, so I had a very small piece of my husband's pesto pizza (w/chicken). It went down well. I have not been sick yet, and eat very slow so I can stop before I get full (not a fun feeling :o(LOL). I know I was supossed to wait a couple of month's before I tried meat, but I can't help it. Chicken and Tuna are all I have tried, but I have had refried beans, potato salad, eggs, lettuce, watermelon, mashed potatoes, and cup of noodles. The noodles were salty and I was really thursty afterwards and had a hard time waiting 30 minutes to drink my water. Overall, each day gets better, and I will post tomorrow on my low energy problem. I am taking 2 flinstone vitamins, but what I would really like to take are the prenatal vitamins with extra Iron and B-12 that I had when I was pregnant!! Those had helped a lot, I was a little low on Iron during my last pregnancy. Anyway, I will let everyone know tomorrow what happens. So glad everything went well. Mine is to be July 17 so I still have mine to look forward to. I can't have the lap type so I will be having the open which will mean a longer recoup period. Hope I do as well. Again, Congratulations!
