Hello everyone!
I am a 20year old female. I have been over weight my whole life since can remember. I first thought about getting the lapband surgery about 6 years ago when I first started to hear about it. It always came to mind but I never took it serious. So I did research and followed many people through their journeys online and at support groups. So finally about 6 years later I came to terms with my self and decided to get the surgery done. So here I am! My surgery date is for March 21th 2007! I am soo excited and yet at the same time very nervous. I have the support of my whole family including long term boyfriend. I am so glad that they have something like this so I can disscus things with people who are going through what I am going through. I have tried every diet before even thinking of getting this surgery. I just couldnt bare to live my life over weight any more. I dont want to miss out on life any more. I want to be able to do things with my family and not just stay home all the time and hid from the embarassment of being over weight. So I am hoping this will help me acheive my goals of living a healthy happy life! I will keep everyone posted. I am going to post some photos of me now soon. And I will keep posting photos as I go through my journey of weight loss.
