I have been over weight most of my adult life.  I had several stressful events in my late twenties that caused my weight to go up.  I've been on every diet invented I believe and everyone of them worked great, as long as I stayed on them.  Each time I got off of them I gained back the weight plus some.  I do try and exercise, but now that I'm over 300 pounds the only exercise I can really do is water aerobics.  I love that and plan to stick with it.
I've lost 90 pounds, 75 pounds and 50 pounds on my most successful diet experiences.  I've done best on diets that included either all liquid or some liquid meal replacements.  I think the ease of these is what made me successful at those programs.  I've never really been a food binger or Little Debbie Fan.  My problem has always been quantity.  Even when you eat healthy, double portions don't help you lose weight.  I always seem to eat past "full".  I think that is why I've decided this surgery is my best bet.  I will definetly get to full a lot sooner after the surgery.  I found this web site while looking for information about the surgery.  I'm excited to find a place I can ask every question I have of people who have been there and are there now.
