I'm waiting insurance approvals.  Medicare and Tricare for Life. My first and only visit with Dr. Turnquest was in Jan, 2008.  I really like him and his staff. I went to a dietian, Emily Banes, who was fabulous.  Lots of good information from her and encouragement.  I'm glad I went through the four months under her supervision.  I've talk with his office a couple of times regarding insurance approval and hopefully it will come within the next couple of weeks.  I'll be 59 in September and I am SO READY to do this.  I know several people who have accomplished the surgery successfully and they have encouraged me.  My family is very supportive and my husband says he is very proud that I have made this decision.
