4 Month post op - 61 lbs down!

Oct 11, 2009

Hi everyone, i'm finally under the dreaded 300 lbs! Things are going great, i'm noticing so many changes, other people are noticing lots of changes. I'm getting used to trying different foods and i havent dumped in over a month which is great.
My clothes are all way too big for me, but i'm not buying anything else unless i've got a special occasion to go to...in my closet i've got sooo many clothes that still have the labels on there, its just a total waste of money. I'm not happy about my breasts as i've gone down 2 sizes! Why couldnt that have happened on my stomach?? I know my stomach is shrinking slowly, but not as quickly as other parts of my body. My wedding and engagement rings are falling off my fingers, my watch has to be resized and i used to wear a size 10 shoes now i'm 8 1/2 - 9.

My exercise is erratic these days, i've calmed down alot.... my time has been consumed with sorting out visa stuff as we're moving to Texas soon. I'm also taking advantage of the National Health here, so i've been to the dentist to sort everything out as its free, i've got appointments this week with my doctor to get full blood tests and sort out any medical stuff as its also free. My hubby also advised me to make sure to get to the optician before getting to the U S as its very expensive there, so plenty of stuff to sort out. Anyway, no more excuses...i need to make it to the gym 4 times this week, even if its just for an hour.

I can honestly now say that i am no longer a slave to the scale, i dont get depressed when i dont lose (well not recently), i'm coming to terms with the fact that i'm just a slow loser, but i'm losing it!

There is just one thing that i'm wondering if anyone else is going through, whenever i eat a meal about 1/2 hour later
i'm on the toilet with diarrhea, its been like this for about a month. I also have really bad stinky gas, OMG its disgusting and the sounds that come from my stomach are so loud its unbelievable.

Yesterday Ash and i went to a friend of mines for dinner, we really enjoyed ourselves, i last saw my friend in June, just before my op, she was so surprised at the change, even though i was wearing an outfit that was about 3 sizes too big for me, it feels good that poeple notice the changes.

I'm hoping everyone is doing great and loving life. Thanks for reading!

The below photos were taken yesterday on our way to my friends house.
