I have thought about WLS off and on for a couple of years. I finally made up my mind to do it when a group of friends and I went to the Texas State Fair and it was a nice day out we were walking, eating having a good time but I was the only one with sweat dripping off my face and huffing and pu ffffing @ that moment I said I am going to do it and I did I had my surgery on March1,2007.

when I began this journey I weighed 362lbs. 7wks after surgery I weigh 298lbs (under 300lbs!!!) for my Insurance (Aetna) my Surgeon request I lose 30lbs so my grand total of weight lost is 64lbs!!!

I have lost 6in' in my Hips, 5in' in my waist, 5in' in my bust, 2in' in my thighs and arms.

I have to say that I am thankful that I made the decision to have this surgery. I didn't have any post-op problems not alot of gas I healed up rather nicely.

Well I am alomst 5 months post op...I have lost 104lbs !!!!
In my waist I have lost 17in.. in my hips 18'.. and I don't even want to talk about my itty bitty titties...lol I have lost almost 10in OMG I liked those they could have stayed....But I haven't had any major issues I have dumped once on some cherrios??? they were the strawberry yogurt flavored w/ 2 packets of splenda ...go figure
I had some issues w/ protein but now I can drink the shakes w/ milk with no problem
I try to get my workout on ..I go bike riding, love to walk outside, I like the weights I can actually see definition in my arms.and legs
this surgery is awesome it is hard work and you have to work at it but it is worth it

So I have set a goal my 6 month post op is 9/12/07 I am challenging myself to lose 25lbs so I will be @ 233 and then my next goal is to lose 33lbs by my 32nd b-day which is December 8
I don't know what my goal weight is I think I would like to be in a size 12/14
