Daniel Stickler

"I recently attended a workshop at the UPMC Magee's Women's Hospital and met Dr. Eid and some of his co-workers. I had the opportunity to ask him questions about the surgery and I appreciated his willingness to answer them. He seemed to be concerned with his patient's care and well-being. His staff seemed to be well organized and up-to-date on procedures. He explained the risks of the surgery and how important that taking vitamin supplements and working with them as a team to gain success from the surgery. Overall, I would rate him highly. I was diagnosed with PCOS and he has special interests in the effects of GBS on patients with PCOS, which also makes him my choice as a surgeon. I believe honesty, and competence go hand-in-hand when it comes to human life. Dr. Eid seemed well suited for the task of dealing with morbidly obese patients, and I look forward to him giving me the tools to succeed in a positive and healthy future. :) My insurance denied my surgery at UPMC Magee's Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, because it was out of network and so was Dr. George Eid. I was disappointed in the decision, but the insurance referred me to Dr. Daniel Stickler in Charleston, West Virginia. I just had my consultation with Dr. Stickler, and I feel at ease after meeting him. He was very attentive to my questions and answered them while taking time to listen to my concerns and fears. I feel secure in my decision to have Dr. Stickler as my surgeon, and would recommend him and the Lifequest staff to anyone needing help to fight obesity in their lives. "
