Medicare approves the Sleeve...well sort of.

YEA! Medicare covers the Sleeve, in a way (link to decison below).   Apparently, Medicare says that the sleeve is covered, but it is up to the regions to decide whether they will or not.   Not completely sure how this works.  I hope that my region is all for it, but we shall see.  The "qualifications" that have to be met according to Medicare, I am alright.  If the regions can put additional limits or requirements,  I am not sure.  Luckily, at least I hope it will be a lucky thing, I live on the border of two regions.   So if one doesn't cover maybe the other will???    Guess I will have to contact my surgeons office and find out what is going on.   Hopefully they will be able to tell me something.
